This Week’s Sports Predictions: May 13 – May 19, 2024
Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!
All sport is ruled by the planet Mars. The position and condition of this protective and combative planet have a significant baseline influence on the outcome of all competition.
This week, Mars takes a quantum leap into the great unknown, thanks to a karmic conjunction with the North Node of the moon. The lunar nodes are super-sensitive points in the sky where the moon’s orbital path meets the ecliptic (with the South Node pointing to the past and the North pointing to the future). And with the warrior planet in hot pursuit of this new and unfamiliar territory, now is the time to move forward with courage, strength, determination, and a measure of restraint!
We kick off this week’s predictions on Saturday afternoon with a minor league football game between the Michigan Panthers and Memphis Showboats. Here, the waxing Virgo moon rises shyly over the horizon for an emotional fight for supremacy. Then, baseball teams Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners will shape up under the influence of the hazy mercurial moon, and the weakness of both teams will be exposed. Finally, on Saturday afternoon, baseball teams Miami Marlins and New York Mets go head-to-head under the auspices of the Virgo moon as she feels the heat from the intense friction generated by the Mars/Node combo to deliver a striking game where winner takes all.
Game 1
UFL
Michigan Panthers -v- Memphis Showboats
Saturday 18th May @ 4:00 pm – Detroit, Michigan
On Saturday afternoon at Ford Field, the Michigan Panthers invite the Memphis Showboats onto their field. With the Virgo moon prepped and ready for action, this will be a game where tactics and strategy rule, especially with the Panthers’ starting quarterback, Sagittarius sun E.J. Perry and his ambitiously loaded Capricorn moon/Venus/Mars/Jupiter stellium, methodically taking out the trash. But it appears that it will be the Showboats’ stellar quarterback, Leo Mars Josh Love and his killer Scorpio sun, who will fly beneath the radar and steal the show. Memphis Showboats to win.
Game 2
MLB
Baltimore Orioles -v- Seattle Mariners
Saturday 18th May @ 4:05 pm – Baltimore, Maryland
On Saturday afternoon at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the Baltimore Orioles welcome the Seattle Mariners onto their ballpark. With the bright fixed dog-star Sirius overseeing the action and the Virgo moon getting down to business, this will be an illuminating game, one way or another, especially with the Orioles tricky shortstop, Gemini sun Gunnar Henderson and his persuasive Libra moon up to mischief. However, it appears that it will be the Mariners’ poker-faced catcher, Scorpio sun Cal Raleigh and his feral Leo Mars lurking in the ether, who will dig deep and hold on tight to nab a spectacular victory. Seattle Mariners to win.
Game 3
MLB
Miami Marlins -v- New York Mets
Saturday 18th May @ 4:10 pm – Miami, Florida
On Saturday afternoon at LoanDepot Park, home team Miami Marlins invite the New York Mets onto their turf. With the waxing Virgo moon on a collision course with Mars, this will be a fast and furious contest, especially with the Marlins’ stellar left fielder, Leo Mars Bryan De La Cruz and his electric and eclectic Aquarius moon throwing a spanner in the works. But it appears that it will be the Mets’ hooded first baseman, Scorpio sun/Mercury/Jupiter combo Peter Alonso and his powerful lion-hearted, Regulus-laced Leo Mars, who will be the one to dig deep and deliver a wickedly entertaining win. New York Mets to win.
And that’s a wrap for this week in Sports Astrology Predictions. Until next time!
