November 2024 Monthly Report: Karmic Shifts and Cosmic Surprises: What November Has in Store

November is rich with karmic unfolding, for wider humanity, and in our individual lives. The past seeds we have sewn sprout and blossom now – for better or worse.

Are you in need of a little intensity or a deep focus? Then this is the new moon for you! When the moon is activated in Scorpio, we become a little more psychic, and a little more determined to take a stand for what we believe in. Some may experience an ending and new beginning in life under this new Moon, and do be careful of a tendency to manipulate others, or exerting a self righteous avoidance of responsibilities under this influence.

November 2, 2024 Mercury Trine Mars:

This is a time for being sure of your decisions. For making ‘bang on’ choices on the fly. Take a risk that can really pay off. Feel confident in your plans and life strategy. 

Mercury trine Mars is also brimming with blessing for endeavours requiring concentration and mental focus. Communication of all kinds gets the thumbs up too – so write that speech. Email that long lost friend. Ask your Dad for a favor. Publish that blog post.

One of the universe’s more difficult interactions…take a deep breath!

November 4, 2024 Sun Trine Saturn

Two arch enemies make something of a truce today, and it gifts us mere mortals with a feeling of groundedness and stability…..at least momentarily!

Time to notice that amber traffic light and act accordingly! This is going to be a challenging one. Going down the mental rabbit hole of loneliness, depression, sadness and ‘poor me’ is very likely, so put your foot on the brake, slow down, and give yourself a mental rest if you can. Do make sure you have some self love strategies up your sleeve if you find you are struggling.

Negative thinking, gloomy attitudes, or feeling at odds with your social and familial circle are energies to be aware of, but you can channel this into detailed work, goal setting, planning, and reading to get better results.

“Give me more cleaning to do!” said no-one ever…..

November 15, 2024 Full Moon in Taurus 24°

Oh wow, what a refreshing full moon this will be! Trine to Pluto and sextile to Neptune, we will receive a hefty dose of outer planet blessings with this one! It is, however, set to activate the conjunction point of the Mars/Uranus conjunction from July 2024, so think back to mid-year. What was unfolding in your life at that time that might be reaching a surprising culmination now? Whatever unfolds, know that the two powerful Olympian gods, Pluto and Neptune, will have your back.

November 15, 2024 Saturn Direct

No more Saturn retrograde for another 7 months, so enjoy the sensation of things starting to change and move forward a little, at last! 

What does Saturn rule in your chart? This is where you are most going to feel the difference!

When Saturn is retrograde it tends to confine itself too much – or go to the other polarity and have no boundaries at all! All in all, there is very little middle ground.  Now, at last, things settle down and become more contained and manageable. 

Turning direct will mean possible changes to the capacity of influence carried by the authority figures in our lives, bringing any boundaryless rulership scenarios back in check. 

At least, a little bit….

November 16, 2024 Sun Opposite Uranus

The once a year transit that can really stir us up! 

In modern astrology, the sun rules Leo, and Uranus rules its opposite sign, Aquarius. These two big boys can behave very much like arch enemies at times!

This is an energy of change, of shaking out of a rut, of epiphanies, of exciting new people and events. In that sense it can act on us like a tonic if we have been spinning our wheels….

But don’t get all comfy just yet, your feeling of stuckness can lead to busting out, sometimes inappropriately. Expect that your best laid plans could also go awry today, and chaos could be on the menu. Male authority figures could really behave erratically, and our rebellious attitude could somehow get the better of us if we are not careful.

Jupiter transits can bring blessings – but they can also take things to extremes!

Jupiter will expand our conversations – especially on cultural, spiritual and philosophical topics.  Our curiosity can be aroused. We may take a delightful trip, locally or further afield. We can learn some fabulous new skills. 

But watch out for over-extension!  For example: a dogmatic approach to our beliefs and communication.  There’s a tendency to overthink everything, and our minds may get restless. Imagining we can achieve more in our trip than what is realistic. Not paying attention to facts while we take in the big picture. Overlooking important details with the skill sets we are acquiring.  Yikes!

Here goes Pluto, settling once and for all into the waves of the Water Bearer! This is no trifling transit – a topic that has been well explored by astrologers for the last few years. However, it is the ingress chart of this event that is most revealing – a topic I have explored in depth. 

Financial astrologers, mundane astrologers, weather astrologers and personal astrologers all acknowledge that the ingress chart of a planet into a new sign, especially a big gun like Pluto, is so very important. This is a time of rethinking our choices – especially those to do with travel, education, relocation and where we place our beliefs. A time of second thoughts and second chances!

In a sign so connected to knowledge, wisdom and morality, Mercury retrograde is a time for revamping anything and everything to do with our direction in life, what gives our life meaning and purpose, and what we do to expand our presence on the planet. This is a very pertinent retrograde period for personal growth!
