Weekly Finstrology Update for May 28: Holiday Enthusiasm Takes a Late-Week Hit

All times Eastern

Good news for the technology sector continues over the long holiday weekend as both benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter, are in play. Money planet Venus trines powerful Pluto on Saturday in the air signs of Gemini and Aquarius, respectively. Twelve hours later, Jupiter enters Gemini, adding its behemoth energy to things of air.

As markets in the United States open for the week’s trading on Monday night, Mercury enters the picture through the week’s end. It might reveal hints of long-term plans as it makes a sextile to Saturn late Monday.

The last trading day of both the week and month could well prove the most interesting, however. That’s when Mercury conjoins Uranus in Taurus at 1:54 a.m. Friday. This combination indicates the potential for surprising news about financial matters during the overnight trading hours because the conjunction occurs in Taurus, ruled by the money planet Venus.

Markets on the Move

TSCO Tractor Supply Co.

It’s gardening season, and many weekend putterers find what they need from a company with an unlikely name, Tractor Supply. Indeed, from its 1939 roots as a Chicago-based mail-order business catering to farmers, the company has grown to become the nation’s largest operator of rural lifestyle retail stores in the country.

The company first went public in 1959, but in 1983 became privately owned through a leveraged buyout. It once again became a listed company on February 18, 1994. That horoscope chart has Uranus and Neptune near the midheaven, which are often active at both highs and lows.

On June 6, prices could make a low because the sun, moon and Venus are all partile trine the stock’s first-trade Mars. Similarly, a low could be on tap on June 17, when the sun, moon, Mercury, and Venus form a grand trine with the market’s natal sun.

Hard aspects from the moon and Jupiter to first-trade Mercury and Saturn could produce a high on June 12. An especially important high could occur on July 16, when the Mars/Uranus conjunction opposes first-trade Pluto while the transiting sun opposes natal Uranus.

Weekly Highlights
