Observing Our Surroundings

At 3:11 a.m.: The moon enters Gemini, and the moon void of course ends

In the pre-dawn hours, the moon enters Gemini, ending its void of course which began last night. Over the next two days, our attitude is more social and outgoing. We expect our minds to be engaged, whether through hobbies, conversations, or learning something new.  However, what this lunar period has in variety, it lacks in depth. In fact, we might avoid going deep altogether, preferring to graze the surface of matters than getting to their core. This is a good occasion to have objective, rational discussions on controversial topics.

At 3:49 a.m.: The moon is trine Pluto

Shortly following this, the moon trines Pluto in Aquarius, putting us in research mode. This is an ideal transit for investigative projects or examining the psychology of ourselves and others. We might even find ourselves drawn to taboo activities for observational, rather than participatory, purposes.  Despite the distracted and fickle nature of the Gemini moon, we exit this period feeling as though we’ve seen into another’s soul and grown closer to them as a result of what we’ve discovered there.
