Mary doesn’t believe in coincidences, so when serendipitous circumstances led to her getting her first horoscope writing gig over 20 years ago, she knew it was her destiny. Since then she’s learned a staggering amount about the sun, moon and other planetary bodies, and she thanks her lucky stars she gets paid to write about what she loves. When she isn’t studying an ephemeris, she reads poetry and obituaries, moon-gazes, loves music, art, mysteries and minibars, obsesses over mixed-up idioms and missing-person cases, and embraces the rainy days and weirdness of her adopted hometown of Portland.
