This Week’s Sports Predictions: January 8– January 14, 2024

January 6, 2024

Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars. The position and condition of this protective and combative planet have a significant baseline influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, Mars gets to hang out with Mercury again as this tiny, mischievous planet plays catch-up in the shadow of its retrograde loop. Mercury rules the mind and communication, so as it begins to gain traction and move forward into the orb of the warrior planet, any stagnant energy can be cleared, and a new path can be mapped with precision. Thoughts have wings, so set your mind on the ultimate goal and get ready to fly.

We begin this week’s predictions on Sunday afternoon with an ice hockey game between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals. Here, the icy Aquarian moon gets reined in by Saturn for a seriously competitive contest. Then, later on Sunday afternoon, basketball teams Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers play under the cold light of the Uranian moon for an edgy and erratic display of bravado. Finally, on Sunday evening, basketball teams Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings go head-to-head under the auspices of the idiosyncratic vibes of the Saturn-restricted moon for an unexpected finale.

Game 1

NHL

New York Rangers -v- Washington Capitals

Sunday 14th January @ 1:00 pm – New York, New York

On Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden, home team New York Rangers invite the Washington Capitals onto their rink. With the growing light of the Aquarius moon pulling away from the restrictions of Saturn, upsets and delays may haunt the game. However, the random energy will keep the players on their toes, especially with the Rangers’ side-lining left wing, Cancer moon Artemi Panarin (aka “Breadmaker”) and his powerful Libra sun/Mars combo on the burner. But it appears that it will be the Capitals’ sharp-shooting center, Virgo Mars Dylan Strome and his on-point Aquarius sun, who will be the one to oversee the action for a surprising and exhilarating climax. Washington Capitals to win.

Game 2

NBA

Denver Nuggets -v- Indiana Pacers

Sunday 14th January @ 1:30 pm – Denver, Colorado

On Sunday afternoon at Ball Arena, home team Denver Nuggets welcome the Indiana Pacers onto their court. With the waxing Aquarius moon preparing to make an escape, this will be an edgy game that will test patience and versatility, especially with the Nuggets’ eccentric center, Aquarius sun Nikola Jokic and his cunning retrograde Cancer Mars delivering a barrage of casual low-blows. However, it appears that it will be the Pacers’ quirky point guard, Aquarius sun/retrograde Mercury combo Tyrese Haliburton and his slippery Pisces Mars, who will slide his way to a brilliant victory. Indiana Pacers to win.

Game 3

NBA

Milwaukee Bucks -v- Sacramento Kings

Sunday 14th January @ 6:00 pm – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

On Sunday evening at Fiserv Forum, home team Milwaukee Bucks invite the Sacramento Kings onto their turf. With the loaded, tricksy Aquarius moon up to more than a little mischief, this will be a roguish game, especially with the Bucks’ killer power forward, Scorpio sun Giannis Antetokounmpo and his fixed star Regulus-infused Leo Mars laying down the law. But it appears that it will be the Kings’ dazzling point guard, Leo moon De’Aaron Fox and his loaded Capricorn Venus/Mars/Uranus/Neptune stellium, who will rise to the occasion and take out the opposition with the utmost of style and finesse. Sacramento Kings to win.

And that’s a wrap for this week in Sports Astrology Predictions. Until next time!
